What to expect

What should you expect if you book me for your next event?

Organising any event can sometimes be a time consuming process but above all should be exciting.  My role in this is to help you provide the type of event you want for you and your guests.

When you first contact me I will ask some questions about the type of event you are planning.

I will  ask if you have considered what type of music you may want for your event.

Don’t worry if you don’t know this, as I can help make some suggestions.  The type of music needed to entertain people eating a meal is perhaps different from that needed to get people dancing later in the evening.

I have sung at many events and whether your next party is a wedding, a house party or a larger dinner and dance evening – I can make some suggestions to make it a real success.

Once we have agreed a date and cost, I will confirm everything in writing which details exactly what you will have asked for.

On the date of your event, I always make sure that I have set up my equipment prior to your guests arriving – this makes sure that I can do a good sound check and make sure everything is sounding perfectly.

If you need a disco/DJ too, look no further as I can do this as well.  This has several advantages, but most notably it will be cheaper – as you don’t have to pay for two people. In terms of the music I play between my singing sets, we can discuss what type of music you might like. – again… if you’re not sure, I can suggest something suitable. For more information click on the ‘DJ/Disco’ link above.  For more details of the packages that I offer, click on the ‘weddings/parties’ link above.

If you have arranged for a separate disco/DJ – I will also ask to contact them so that we can work together to make sure all the technical bits and pieces are all sorted out – everything to make sure your event is truly memorable.

If there is anything that you can think of that isn’t covered, please do contact me to discuss this further.
